MEET DONNA MUHAMMAD, ARTIST of SURREAL ART HOUSE 

INSPIRATION
Born in Tyler, Texas, Donna started painting as a small child and viewed the world through rose-colored glasses.  Her world was filled with imagination and fantasy, which are both expressed through her art.  Her art is influenced by Jimmie Brewster, her aunt and well-known artist in East Texas.

EDUCATION
Donna studied formally at Texas Southern University under the renown Painter, Historian, and Muralist, Dr. John Biggers.

GENRE
Donna has developed her God-given talents and produced works in Oil, Acrylic, and Mixed Media on canvas and mat board.  Her style is a hybrid of surrealism and abstractionism, reflecting a range of color and emotion.

Donna has displayed and sold her paintings in galleries, art fairs, and auctions, including the following locations in Chicago, Illinois:

THE ARTIST TODAY

Donna currently resides in Chicago, Illinois and opened an online gallery to share her art across regional boundaries.  She continues to paint and transcend the life of this world through her art.
